Call for Affiliated Events
IACR is soliciting proposals for affiliated events to be held in conjunction with Eurocrypt 2025, on Saturday, May 3, and/or Sunday, May 4 in Madrid. Each such event is expected to provide a forum discussing a specific topic of the broad cryptographic world (theory, practice, implementation, standardization, etc.). The format of the event (e.g., workshop, tutorial, etc.) is up to the organizers.
Second call: As we still have a few slots available, we are opening a second call for
affiliated events. Second submission deadline for proposals is December 6th, 11:59 (AoE).
Information to Submitters
Organizing an affiliated event should be relatively simple. All registration and local organization is handled by the IACR (through the General and Workshop Chairs). Proposers need to identify a topic, decide on the format and, if accepted, coordinate the programme/speakers according to the general schedule guidelines provided by the local organizers.
For each event, the local organizers will provide:
-
Conference room with a projector
-
Lunch and coffee breaks
-
Internet access
-
Registration services (registration desk, nametags, etc.)

First submission deadline for affiliated event proposals at 11:59pm Anywhere on Earth (AoE)
The registration fee for attendees of affiliated events will be charged via the registration process and will cover the incurred costs for the location, catering and equipment. Being registered for a given day of workshops enables a participant to attend this workshop, and, if space allows it, any other workshop of that particular day.
Any additional costs (e.g. programme costs, reimbursement of invited speakers or printing of proceedings) are the responsibility of the individual workshop organizers.
The organizers of accepted events are expected to maintain an updated website (which will be linked from the Eurocrypt 2025 website) containing all relevant information for participants. In addition, while the local organization will provide all technical equipment (laptops, projector, etc. ) and basic technical support, workshop organizers will be responsible for all in room arrangements (e.g. collecting and projecting slides).
Submission Format for Affiliated Event Proposals
