Student Presenters

The Cryptography Research Fund allows us to waive the registration fee for all student presenters of an accepted paper at the main conference. Application is still mandatory. Please apply by April 1st with your name and the title of the presentation and subject ‘Student Presenter Waiver for ‹your name›’ to

Stipends

A limited number of stipends will be available to those students unable to obtain funding to attend the conference. Students in under-represented groups are especially encouraged to apply. Depending on availability we may also provide stipends for other researchers unable to obtain funding.

We require that all applicants requesting funding send an e-mail with subject ‘Stipend Request for ‹your name›’ to

In this mail you will need to provide

1. a description of previous IACR funding for travel, including amounts for appropriate conferences, and
2. an explanation as to why you need funding, and
3. an explanation of what you hope to achieve by attending Eurocrypt 2019.

Further, please attach a letter of the student's advisor or researcher's host or institution explaining

1. why there is a need for funding from the conference, and
2. whether the advisor, host, or institution will provide any funding to complement awarded partial travel grants, and a commitment to a maximal dollar value they are willing to support.

Application deadline is April 1st. Notification will be sent out by April 5th. Late request may be processed in order of arrival, depending on available funds.

Note: If you are a student presenter and want to apply for support beyond the registration fee waiver, you will need to complete this information as well. You still need to submit the registration waiver form above by April 1st.
